Make sure your music and video media stands the test of time with TuneTransfers.com, LLC by using our comprehensive analog media conversion services to CDs / DVDs / Hard Drives.

We have found (after almost three years of work) that AIFF formats for audio and .mov file formats for video are the best for our services of analog media conversion.  For an in depth study of the different audio file formats check out this link, for an in depth study of video file formats check out this link.

The AIFF format is beneficial for audio conversions since it is a lossless format that takes up more room on a CD, mp3 CD, or hard drive but it is a higher quality format that can be used in any audio playback program and on any digital music player.

The .mov file format for videos that are converted by us is extremely useful.  It is technically a QuickTime file that is universally accepted on all computer platforms.  If you use the DVD we provide on a standard DVD player it will play like any other DVD, but when you load it into a computer it can easily be edited on any of the video editing software packages that are available for PCs or Macs.  A .mov file format is one of the best to use for our services.

Before we engage in track separations for the audio conversion which has been discussed on the previous note we usually clean up the audio quality.  If the vinyl record or cassette tape has distorted noise, or the volume is too low, or there are annoying pops and scratches that show up on the converted file format then we will utilize our proprietary software to clean up the the audio.  We analyze the wave form of the audio to make sure everything looks right afterwords and what you end up with is a great sounding audio file at 32 bit 44.1 khz AIFF format quality.

When you send in a vinyl record or cassette tape to be transferred to CD we usually separate the tracks on the audio media.  If the original analog audio is music or some other type of recording that warrants track separation then what we do is the following:  First, we convert the audio analog media by using cassette decks and vinyl record turntables connected to audio out jacks wired to all our Apple computers.  After recording everything in real time we use proprietary software to determine the general location of the track points - but, we do not actually create track points until a person manually listens to several seconds of audio on each end of the computer designated points and we make sure that they are correct.  By doing this we always create perfect track points and remove excess blank space.

TuneTransfers.com, LLC Accepts The Following Forms Of Payment:

What we mean by this is that any media you send in, whether it is vinyl records, cassette tapes, video tapes, or 8mm film can be any length and we charge per unit, not per hour.  For example, if you send in a 1 hour and 30 minute VHS tape to us - we charge per tape, not time.

For video media formats we try to keep each converted DVD under 2 hours for optimal quality.  If you mail in a 3 hour VHS tape we will break this tape up into two parts onto two separate DVDs.  No extra fees are applied, we simply create two DVDs for the best possible quality.

For audio media formats we try and keep each converted CD under 80 minutes.  If a cassette tape is longer than that then we will break the two sides of the cassette tape onto two separate CDs.  The track separations will still be applied and no extra fees are administered.
